§ 4121 Specific training programs

5 U.S.C. 4121In consultation with the Office of Personnel Management, the head of each agency shall establish—

5 U.S.C. 4121(1)(1) a comprehensive management succession program to provide training to employees to develop managers for the agency; and

5 U.S.C. 4121(2)(2) a program to provide training to managers on actions, options, and strategies a manager may use in—

5 U.S.C. 4121(2)(A)(A) relating to employees with unacceptable performance;

5 U.S.C. 4121(2)(B)(B) mentoring employees and improving employee performance and productivity; and

5 U.S.C. 4121(2)(C)(C) conducting employee performance appraisals.
