5 CFR 847.804Employees electing to credit NAFI service under this subpart must:
5 CFR 847.804(a)(a) Inform the NAFI retirement plan that they are electing to credit NAFI service for CSRS or FERS retirement eligibility;
5 CFR 847.804(b)(b) Document the election on a form prescribed by OPM; and
5 CFR 847.804(c)(c) Submit the election with their application for immediate retirement.
