5 CFR 846.703An election under this subpart is effective on the later of—
5 CFR 846.703(a)(a) The first day of the pay period beginning after the date the election and any required supporting documentation is received by the employing office; or
5 CFR 846.703(b)(b) The first day of the pay period beginning after July 1, 1998.
