§ 841.401 Purpose and scope

5 CFR 841.401(a)(a) The purpose of this subpart is to regulate the Government contributions to the Civil Service Retirement Fund under FERS.

5 CFR 841.401(b)(b) This subpart covers—

5 CFR 841.401(b)(1)(1) Factors considered in the computation of agency contributions under FERS;

5 CFR 841.401(b)(2)(2) Publication of notice of the normal cost rates for each category of employees;

5 CFR 841.401(b)(3)(3) Agency appeals of rate determinations;

5 CFR 841.401(b)(4)(4) Methodology for determining the amount due from each agency; and

5 CFR 841.401(b)(5)(5) Requests for reconsideration of the supplemental liability.
